Service/Repair in Los Angeles
Hello! I'm new to the forum and hoping to benefit from your wisdom.
I'm looking for a good place in Los Angeles for service and repair. Does anyone have any recommendations? These watches have an enormous amount of sentimental value for me, and I'd appreciate any guidance towards people/businesses that you trust. Thanks so much for your time and advice! |

Also try Watch Buyers Group in Pasadena. Service prices are more reasonable.

Ironically, both shops are in Pasadena. Good news for those on the northside or in the Foothills.

You can try Jorge from Montoya Watch Service Center. He's a great, knowledgeable guy with the right tools and knowledge. Used to be a Rolex technician from Beverly Hills RSC. He is the go-to guy for one of the top vintage watch dealers on Melrose.

Thanks very much for all the good leads so far! Just wondering... One of these watches is a reference that's out of production and might be a little harder to service and find parts for. Does that have an effect on where you'd recommend I go?

I am curious if you have ever used the Watch Buyers Group in Pasadena too? Their warranty is 5 years for a service in comparison to only 1 year for LAWW. Just curious. Getting ready to service my watch which has been in a drawer for most of 25 years since the last service.

I always go to Time Tec Watch Service center in the jewelry district. I had them service my dad's Rolex, a Cartier and a Breitling. All came out nice. Google them. Lots of yelp reviews too.
