Got lucky at my AD
Only way to get a Daytona white dial ceramic without being on a list or waiting. I needed to buy 3 including the Daytona, root beer, and dd40. No regrets. Daytona and dd40 keeping for my self.

Always wanted a pm that’s not too flashy. Had a blnr and sold it to “justrolexes” and had a gmt black ceramic sold to DavidSW. Need to change the view from the gmt family for a bit.

Got the DD for 20% off. Came out to 30k. Easily justified with that Daytona being so high above retail. The 10k profit on it and the 2k profit on the CHNR made the decision easier. Only way I was getting that Daytona without waiting. Walked in the ad and I made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. He had several clients for the Daytona and I needed to put a little pressure on him and I’m hoping to get other sought after pieces. Perhaps it was an investment.

Fantastic! You end up with two watches you want for a great price. Well played. Enjoy.

You wont make 2k on the chnr. You don’t have the “retail price” reputation.

Way to go man! Sounds like you came out ahead despite what naysayers may state.

Or just buy the Daytona grey brand new for around 22k? How is spending 50k+ a good deal for a 12k watch? Unless you wanted the other pieces that’s a different story I guess.

Total spent= $58k Daytona= 23k Chnr= 16k DD40=26k Total low ball amount= $65k. Net=$7k |

Got lucky at my AD
I’m still missing the part where that’s not a ripoff..
The retail price of the Daytona is about 12k...if you weren’t paying retail what’s the point to going through all that..::.again unless you wanted more than the Daytona to begin with |

Keep in mind. This AD now has me first for BLNR and BLRO. It was more of a relationship with my AD. Paying 23-24k for a Daytona is too much. I believe it’s at its peak and will go slightly down years to come.

I paid retail for a Daytona and CHNR
and got 20% on the DD40. Was it a good deal or bad deal? Opinions? |

First, there’s no way a ceramic white dial goes less than 23. But at 22-23k you will lose money on it years to come. Let’s say I sell CHNR for 16k and the DD40 for 26k which we can all agree are low ball. Thats 42k. I spent 58k at the ad. A difference of 16k for a Daytona white dial ceramic plus a relationship with an AD for other hot pieces.
OR buy a Daytona on grey market for 22-23k. |

I’m not selling the DD40. Was just explaining why I’d rather bundle than just buy a Daytona on grey. I’m keeping the DD40 and the Daytona. CHNR going up for sale soon. It’s new and dated yesterday and comes complete, I don’t think I’ll have an issue getting rid of it for a small profit. No rush and definitely don’t need the Money so whatever it sells for is ok with me. Happy I got two watches that I love and get to keep.

If you’re in a position to spend 58k on rolexes in one serving, I think youre splitting hairs. Also DD in YG would have been better imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Nice job. Getting the 20% off on the DD plus the bundle is good work. Enjoy!

Isn't the list price on the White Ceramic Daytona 116500LN like $12,400? At least that what it shows on the March, 2019 price list USD.

Don’t know why there’s some hate or criticism towards the bundled deal.. a bundle deal is only as good as the satisfaction and happiness of the buyer and in this case, he seems very happy with it! Congrats on the new pieces!
Even besides that, I personally think you got a great deal considering you can at least even out on the chnr without much effort. |

Yes. OP is just flexing that he picked up 3 rolexes and that he is now at the top of the list for the BLRO AND BLNR at his AD where he will most likely buy the rainbow Daytona to acquire another steel piece. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
