I have had my watch for over a year now and have looked at every dial combination on this forum. I am still very satisfied with my choice and have no regrets. I plan to wear this watch for the rest of my life. As you can see, I think the TT/DJ with fluted jubilee is the most beautiful watch Rolex makes.

Good luck with your choice. Here is a pic of my watch the day I got it with the plastic and bezel protector still on it.
Wow, Rickk, it's beautiful! There is more contrast between the markers and dial than I originally thought, which is a good thing. It is such an uncommon dial these days. The last time I saw a champagne dial was on my grandmother's all yellow gold lady Datejust, which I still adore today.

The poll so far is very close:

Gold Roman Numeral markers on champagne dial got (24 votes) 52.17%
White Stick markers on champagne dial got (22 votes) 47.83%

Very interesting results. Yesterday, white sticks were drastically in the lead. Now, gold Romans are slightly ahead.

Em, don't pay attention to the results.....go and see the dials in person and see which 'sings' to you!

Karis, I plan on seeing the dials in person but sadly I can't get to an AD until later this Summer. In the meantime though, it's interesting to see people's opinions! Thanks for the great advice!

Whatever the combo... try the 36mm on her. Women are wearing bigger watches now and it looks great.

I still voted for the Roman but you have to make sure legibility is not an issue. Sometimes stock pictures can be deceiving.

I would want more contrast, if you like the champagne dial, then the white stick.
A white dial with gold roman numerals would be very nice, too!

I voted romans :-) I dont know your age or what your eyesight is like right now, but you may want to consider a watch with more contrast for , ahem..later viewing. LOL Also consider size too. The 31mm looked fine on me, the 36mm looked a little big. I chose the 36mm with white dial and silver romans. I got used to the size pretty fast. The jubilee bracelet is very comfortable. If I need this dial colour and size combo now in my 40s', Im sure going to need it in my 50's-60's & so on. LOL LOL
