i have a 5712r and had it from new. Back in 2015, had the choice between all 3 variants and picked this one because it looked best / warmest.

I love the g as well. Big congratulation on that one!

The only area where the 5712a wins imv is that it is more comfortable to wear than the other two: slightly lighter, better balanced on the wrist.

Great feedback, I appreciate the comparison review. I’m hoping at some point to obtain any Nautilus with the Stainless Steel bracelet. I have heard the PP Stainless steel bracelets on the Nautilus are extremely comfortable. Most of my watches are Rolexes and PAMs, I have one newer Rolex with the Jubilee bracelet that is my current most comfortable watch to wear.

I had been moving lately between Rolex, AP and PP with respect to wrist time. The PP is hands down the most comfortable bracelet in my experience. Its like silk on your wrist and so very smooth and light. Its the best.

Thanks. I’m hoping to acquire any PP nautilus SS watch with a bracelet, but based on the long wait for this one I just bought, I’m sure it will not be anytime soon and I’m not willing to go the Grey dealer route.

Some time in the future, I’m hoping for an opportunity to acquire a 5711 new release, assuming it comes to fruition!

I will post some wrist shots as soon as I have a chance.

It’s all relative...imagine they give you nothing then lose their Patek franchise. Count your blessings. That is a stellar piece.

Also, check out RubberB band options for that model...very good.

I had 5712g, traded it when my AD offered me 5711a. Wish I hadn’t - I prefer the heft of the gold and the leather strap. Trying to figure best way to get back to where I was before with a new 5712g but I think I’d upset my AD though by selling a 1.5 years old 5711.

Thank you. Yes, my watch came with a rubber strap, are other PP rubber strap options?

I wish our roles were reversed, would love to have a 5711...

SS bracelet is very comfortable, but the waiting is not short. at least 5 years and its getting more and more every year. not to say that you can't be lucky.

while waiting for the SS, may i also suggest off-loading a Rolex or PAM and getting an APRO, they have amazing bracelet too (more solid)

Thanks, I’m sure it’s a great watch, just doesn’t sing to me. Yes, I had a $10K deposit on the 5711 blue face in 2015, 2018 they refunded me when I made it to number two on the list as the depend became too great.

When they refunded me, they offered me both the Rolex SS SD blue face and a Hulk, then last year a 5164R-001, I bought all three....and obviously the one I posted above.

Really hoping for a watch like yours, then I’m finished buying watches and very content!

It is a bit too big on my wrist so I may have to let it one go! I’m Hesitant, because there’s talk the Sky-dweller being Discontinued this year or next.
Congrats on your new gorgeous timepiece!

Blue Sky Dweller is the best engineering timepiece for Rolex. It's better to keep it in your collection.

agreed. It’s not going anywhere. My now thirty year old son has his eyes on it...
