No issues with the clasp. I think it is funny how some of us, myself included, fret over the first few scratches but once we move through it we think they actually look good. Some of my favorite watches have a worn appearance and I could not care less.

I bet the rest of the watch looks pristine though. The jubilee, brushed case, and ceramic bezel is a winning combo for longevity.

Scratches always look worse in pics. I’ve been daily driving my BLRO on Oyster for 6months now. I worried about scratches at first with the PCLs but just don’t care anymore. Mine is still pretty minty but I feel bad for the people who treat these as weekend watches and are scared to wear them and scratch them up on a daily basis.

Never think “that scratch was when I completed my 2019 tax return” or “when I smacked my arm clumsily on the doorway in my kitchen”…

Still, nice watch!
Agree with this! I never understood how scratches carry memories.

OP, your watch doesn't look any different than any of mine. Glad to see you are enjoying it instead of babying it!

It’s what we do this time of year isn’t it. My winter cigars sized down for a sub 40 minute smoke.

I’m off to Bonaire for a dive vacation next week. I have 2 hours reserved every day for a cigar/bourbon (after diving of course)

It looks like you own your watch and your watch doesn’t own you. Exactly how it should be.

I’m so glad those scratches don’t bother me. I wouldn’t want to be a watch collector if they did bother me.

It's great to see these watches being fully enjoyed like this! Those scratches are beautiful! I personally would just leave 'em, even when it's time for service.

Loved and appreciated and used as intended. Nothing wrong with that.

My daily sub looks the same, I only care about scratches on my bimmer, not the watch

Not sure what I am looking at. Seems like a "I use my watch as intended" picture...

It’s only the clasp, there’s tape you can buy.
