I really wanted a LN and finally was able to get it. I saw the BLNR and didn’t care for it at first. All the talk about it and the popularity of it started to change my mind. I told my sales associate to put me down for one. After five months, she had one for me. I got it days before it was discontinued last year. I’m very happy with it and glad I was able to get it. I’ve never seen the BLRO in person but that one just doesn’t do anything for me. I’m probably in the minority with the BLRO.

Sorry that you did not bond with it. Good luck with the sale of the watch.

I bought that watch and sold it 4x in a row. For me, it was the PCL that ruined it.

Now I have one with the newer bracelet and absolutely love it.

I'm right there with you, OP. Had mine for about a month. Tried to love it, but it just didn't click.

Had the same happen with the PepsiC, got one fresh from AD, but didn’t hold up against my trusty old LN, something about the color scheme of the LN is just infinitely more elegant than the more vivid variants in my eyes. Never liked the BLNR either, but never had one in front of me longer than a few minutes.

In situations like these I don't think time helps; you know in your gut right away you either like it or you don't. Maybe it could grow on you, but I would say that's the exception not the rule.

Regardless, I think it's sharp, but understand your desire to send it on.

Love mine, but it is the new ref so on jubilee, the oyster version didn’t do it for me either, tried it at the shop but wasn’t convinced to buy.

Oh well, putting it in the classifieds now. I will not take trades (some people have PM'ed me), I am totally good with my LN and realize it's a keeper.
Was the same for me. There’s something about the ceramic bezels that just doesn’t work for me with the BLNR blue and the LV green - yet it works on the BLRO (all shades)

The LN with its green 24 hour hand just works.

I've got to be honest, I've had 3 Blnr's over the last few years.
2 were from Ad's which weren't that difficult to get at the time and l never bonded with first and sold it for what I paid for it.
6 months later then a opportunity came to get another from another Ad so I tried again to love it and 12 months later sold that one. The 3rd I purchased from a grey and it too lasted 12 months.
I still sometimes think about another.

Not sure I believe all this "not bonding" with the watch stuff, certainly don't believe it takes 3 bought and sold BLNRs to know you don't like the model...just flippers being flippers, c'mon let's be honest.

Same here. I’m a huge GMT fan, but the 116710BLNR never sang me to me. I also sold mine.

If you don’t love it, sell it.

Me too

I never liked the LN until after I got the BLNR. So when I see LNs it’s like oh actually it’s not as boring as I remember, looks pretty cool. Doesn’t have anywhere near as much pop as a BLNR

Almost none of the SS Rolex that everyone is chasing does nothing for me, especially with the maxi cases / wide lugs models.

To me they are all just "Euh" and do not appeal to me at all.

The only one I like, and fell in love with (and bought) is the Full-Lume 214270 Explorer. My favorite, just beating out my 326933 Sky-Dweller.

About 51% to 49% for me on those two.

I have loved mine since I bought in 2017. My first Rolex and bought it because of how it felt and how it sang to me. I couldn’t imagine spending 10k on a watch that didn’t get me excited to wear daily. Sell and buy something that hits the mark!
