Congratulations for the new watch, really love the Taupe bezel

I’m just wandering, is there a noticeable visual difference between the 44 mm and new 43? It’s very difficult to tell from the photos

What kind of visual difference do you mean, because it has many differences:
1. The chronograph pushers and guards are significantly different.
2. The chronograph counters are at 369 instead of 6912.
3. Date window is not magnified.
4. The logo.
5. The tappesserie is different (not so obvious from far).

Sorry I wasn’t clear, I meant total size lug to lug, and Bezel size

Bezel size isn't that much different visually. Lug to lug is pretty obvious, it is even shorter than the 42mm roo.

Wow, that's impressive, makes me want it more can't wait.
How about The dial size? Is it much smaller

*IF* the thumbnail images on the AP website are to scale, the difference in dial diameter is actually twice as big as the 44/43 ratio would suggest. And the lug-to-lug of the 43mm is indeed quite a bit smaller than for the 42mm ROO.

Does that make the new 43 mm dial a similar size or noticeably smaller than the 44mm?

Noticeably smaller, although still larger than the 42mm.

This one does not disappoint! The fit and finish are just top notch. The easy strap change is brilliant. The Ti makes it so light and comfortable even at 43mm.

It’s a winner all around!

Day-am! That is sexy.

Are those photos reflective on how it looks in real life? I've seen other photos where the bezel seems almost washed out in color. Trying to get a feel for the watch. Thanks!

Thank you! It is not washed out at all IRL. There is a lot of movement with the light on the dial and with the fantastic vertical brushing on the CE bezel. I am surprised on the upside with this one. It really doesn’t disappoint, in any way.

And for reference, I had the 44mm CE ROO, and I like this one much better. The fit is better on my wrist (about 7 1/4-3/8”). And to me, while the CE watch is definitely very cool, I felt the CE case could appear a bit flat and washed out in certain lighting. I don’t get that at all with this Ti case. The color combination of this watch is spot on.

Here are a few more pics.

Well explained, Stephen, this version does have clearly better features compared to the previous 44mm which does appear much ‘flatter’ in comparison. Also, very nice highlighting of the subdials when you put on the blue strap. Congratulations on an excellent piece!

Thanks for the reply @nyc2la.

Compared to the 44, is it the same color on the bezel?

Did you by chance see the black dial in person yet and do you find the gray dial plays with the light better than the black or about the same?

Those last two offshores are stunning!

Any one know if one of those is possible as a first time AP buyer?

It’s been a while since I’ve had the 44 CE so I can’t say for certain but if I had to guess, I would say this bezel has more play to it with the vertical brushing - the brushing seems more prominent on this one I believe. Plus against the Ti case, the bezel stands out more in a good way, with really nice contrast.

This grey dial plays with the light really well - but I didn’t see any other watches so I cannot compare.

Lovely watch. Congrats!

The finishing on the grey ceramic bezel looks fantastic in your pphot. Please feel free to share more pics.

Wow! Tough choice between this one and the taupe dial. The Ti case could be the deciding factor. Decisions, decisions.

Thanks Ben!

Here are some more pics. Unfortunately they get compressed when uploading to TRF so they’re not as sharp as we’d like.
