I must say 5205 Just love the style of it. Not a classic design IMHO like the 5146 but damn damn sleek if you ask me

Both will take the same amount of time to change. Usually the final click of the date takes place at 01.30 hrs each morning.

To be able to say that your Patek has a true instant calendar, than unfortunately, you will have to climb waaaaaay up the Patek ladder to say a 5207P or 5208P

Regards

Tony
When I say " instantaneous calendar", I actually mean calendar that can be instantaneously read upon seeing the aperture window at the 10-12-2 position. The 5146 has the 2 dials that is not viewable instantaneously IMHO.

I am biased PP5146g cream!!! Love how the curve case fits to wrist and wears bigger to me than PP5205 seems smaller on wrist cuz of case.

I like both, but personally I would buy the 5146J with grey slate dial.

I agree that the 5396 is the the best looking watch amongst the current generation AC watches, although both the 5146 and 5205 are wonderful timepieces!

I really like both but I would go with the 5205 since it looks more contemporary. If you want the "classic" Patek look then the 5146.

Yes, agree that watch is seasoning like a fine wine or scotch. Get more beautiful every time you look at it. From overlooked to best in class for me

For me 5205, which ever version, the R with black dial being my favorite, anyways I don't like sub dials for AC, prefer way more windows like the 5205, but saying that the other is very cool also
