My perfectly balanced and designed SD4K arrives today.

Only thing that would make me switch, would possibly be a 42 mm case and somehow getting the case thickness under 15mm.

I for one think a green crystal treatment would be pretty awesome just as the Millgauss. A thick green crystal, catching even more light than on the Millgauss would be beautiful IMO

Who knows...until Basel, all we have is rumors!

Perhaps a Sea-Dweller 4000. 40mm with a new 3235 movement ?

Sea-Dweller in green print ? (Like GMT MASTER II)

I would go wild for a matte dial with RED SEA DWELLER and aged hour markers.

TBH if they give it a green dial or writing it would kill any interest I had in this watch.

If Rolex starts using faux-aged lume, I will start banging my head against a wall. Not only is this move already played out and cliche, but Rolex would show it clearly is chasing trends, rather than setting them.

Agreed. Seems plausible for them to have an anniversary model, but faux-aged luminova would be a sad thing to see.

Totally the opposite for me. Changing 11 characters to red and making the hour markers dirty would pose no interest, but I've always liked the green options.

He might mean that it's official that the watch has been discontinued. When I called an AD in Dallas earlier, he let me know that it was discontinued without me having to pry or nudge him about it. Maybe ADs have received official word (or maybe the salesperson was trying to light a fire under my hind parts to come in and buy the last one they had in stock).

Can't find it on the Rolex site anymore either... Remarkable how brief that watch has been in rotation for...
