If anyone in NYC needs a battery changed in their X-33 I have 2 extra ones that I could do. Offer ends next week as I will probably include any spares in my next sale.

I have a question for fellow X-33 owners. I just had the battery replaced on my Gen. I X-33; I reset the time and recalibrated the analog hands, all per the instruction manual. The problem is that the second hand continues to jump in 5 second increments, as though the battery needs replacing, even though it was replaced an hour ago. Can anyone advise why this is happening and how I can fix the problem so that the second hand "sweeps" again?

What a great thread for a great watch. I keep my eyes open for one but so far I've only seen gen-1's available. As soon as I find a gen-2 for sale I'm snapping one up.

Thanks for a terrific write-up.
