Bravo to all these so far, but this one...It is just so classic. I so wish they would do this in a modern Oyster. SUCH Good looking watches.

I missed owning the double red by about a week. One day it will come back up for sale and I shall have it.

Nice thread. I'll keep it alive with a 5700 (on a shell cordovan strap with custom endlinks from Mastermixer) and a Pool Intairdril 5500.

I love that Pool Intairdril 5500. I almost picked up a Pool 5500 last year, but I could not negotiate the right deal. The watch that I was considering needed a service and did not come with a bracelet, but looked good. I offered $1750, which I thought was quite fair, but alas, we couldn't work a deal.

I didn't know the Air-King was out of production until tonight. Interesting.

Here's mine:

Keep the Air-King pics coming!

Now way! I didn't know they had finished.

I better get a picture of my fathers - he's about to flip it for a DJ two tone.

Would you recommend I buy his? Will they increase in value now? It's pretty beat up and is approx. 20yrs old with a white face and an oyster bracelet. He think's it's worth £1500.

Smaller case (34mm) and different hands for a start.
