Anyone got a 5711 without prior spending history in the last year?
Just curious if there's a single soul out there who managed to do the undoable lol. I'll try my luck at the new reference after the green dial Nautilus. I do own a WG Daytona OF which I bought (with a wait time of two months) at an AD that also sells Pateks, hopefully that marginally increases my chances and I also hope that my no waiting time luck doesn't run out.

Tough, did expect that though lol. Guess I'll get the 5172G then, I'm obsessed with that watch.

Yeah sad to say but zero chance. I think the green 5711 run is pretty much over anyway so the few left are being doled out to the big players... think minute repeaters etc.

Nothing is impossible but your chances are very close to zero.... 99.9999999% a no with no spend history.
There is a lot and I mean... a lot people who do have spend history or willing to continue to spend money to get allocated a Nautilus of any kind yet are still rejected. Maybe consider the grey market (if you want it enough) or go for the 5172G like you mentioned. |

Slim, so slim chances. Waited over three years and never made the cut. Over it now but really like the watch.

Yes. Sure you can get it. Remember to post the pics.
Oh, on the side note, no history, no relationship and put my name down on an AD in 2017 for 5712, still waiting. |

Maybe it was possible 5-10 years ago. Today, probably need to spend a few hundred thousand $/£/€ first.

What about a 5177 instead? I think that's not a bad watch:

Nothing is impossible, but judging on the recent past it is a challenge.
I was on the waiting list of the 5726 grey dial for few years but then it got discontinued. My AD offered me a compromise to move me to the 5712 list (and thank god he did). The slimness on that thing is really amazing. I believe it took me few years to get a steel nautilus. But as a piece of advice stay away from the 5711 waiting list. It is the most crowded one. I believe the logic behind that is because it is the most affordable nautilus at retail and nothing more. The 5712 is the same thinness and with the micro-rotor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had a chance of being offered a 5712 as my first Patek, cannot thank my SA enough for that. Similar with the watches now. Patek? Go 5235G. Rolex? Go platinum Yachtmaster. Find something they is not appreciated today because it sure will be in a few years. |

Not now but I did get a 5711 steel in the summer of 2018 from and AD in London without any spend history. It wasn't easy in 2018 either as they were going for 50-75% premiums in the grey market.
I think its virtually impossible now. Unless you are one heck of a serious charmer! |

I got myself on a few more wait lists after the 5711 blue had come in. One piece is still 5+ years away, another is looking better. Hopefully it will work out - with the 5711 they were spot on in terms of expected vs actual wait time. No drama either way as I am quite happy with my lot. |

5712 for 3 years. One AD I contacted again this month she told me to forget it. No chance I will get it. Haha, I appreciate her honesty though so I won't put any hope more. |

Thanks for all the responses guys. Like I mentioned, I got really lucky when it comes to Rolex as I've just received an email saying that the Pepsi I ordered like three months ago was availably for pick up.
So y'all think the money I spent on Rolex (50k ish) won't be enough to get me the successor of the green dial? If it's not going to work out I'll just get the 5172G, the best Patek below 100k rn in my opinion. |

I guess they only count the purchase history for PP if u want to get Nautilus, anyway I maybe wrong afterall I haven't been allocated one yet. I know one guy in Asia who has spent a lot ( at lease few millions) on PP p.a since 2016 and he was offered a Green dial. That s all. |

Completely respect your opinion. Would like to point out that there are few options Patek have under 100K that are cool watches. ACs (5396/5205), the new weekly calendar,(5212), the cool ACC (5905/5960), PC (5327/5320) For me personally if I had a budget of 100k I would defiantly go with a grand complication PC. PP are the masters of that league Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ll add to this perspective.
I have wanted a Nautilus for five years and was on a wait list with a significant deposit for the blue face 5711. I have a decade of solid purchase history with this AD. I was up next when the announcement was made, discontinuing the 5711 and refunded my deposit. Only then, was I offered what I a consolation Nautilus, which was a 5712G, which I purchased. I highly doubt anybody without a long purchase history is going to be able to buy any Nautilis from an authorized dealer. |

If you have compromising photos of your AD doing inappropriate things with livestock… then it's a definite “maybe” on that one.

I was on a wait list for a 5711 blue dial. I was offered a white dial and passed on it (dummy me) . Now I got nothing.

Same with me, this is one I was offered in 2016 and like you passed thinking the waitlist I was on would eventually give me the opportunity to buy the 5711 blue face. I almost pulled the trigger on this one, kicking myself. Interesting sidenote, this Nautilis was just sitting in the showcase and have been there for three months. |
