Put the loupe up and enjoy your watch.

OP, two rules:
1) Never use a loupe. If you can't see it with the naked eye, it doesn't exist. 2) The watch was designed and built to be worn. Wear it. Don't save it for the next guy. Glad you resolved the issue.

Rolex center called me back to pick up the watch just 2 days after I put it in hence I suspect it should be dirt which needs cleaning. I would think that a defect will warrant more repair/replacement and will not just take 2 days to rectify. Honestly, I did not plan to observe the watch so closely with a loupe. I only do it after discovering the initial defect on the bezel, just to make sure there are no other issues. |

Sorry Michael. This may be valid for you but I couldn't disagree more. I never bought a watch without my loupe and I never complained after I bought. Strange coincidence.

Agree with the advice to forget using a loupe. If you really want to have sleepless nights, just buy or borrow a microscope with the magnification of perhaps 1000X. You will see so many “flaws” that it will be shocking. Watches are made short of perfection and meant to be looked at with the human eye.
