Strange observation with my Sub Date

Having stared at my new watch for a long time, as we do! I look sometimes and think the Oyster Perpetual Date writing is sloping on one side. If I look from a slightly different angle it sometimes appears to slope the other way! Is it something to do with light refraction off the crystal?! (maybe I am going mad!)

Has anyone else noticed this?

Thanks.

I know what you mean. I've noticed it before too one of my sub dates (I had 3 in the past 6 years). I also noticed it on my SS Daytona. It will eventually go away as time passes...meaning you'll get over it. LOL. Enjoy the watch and wear it often!!!!!

Agreed, beer and enjoyment of your watch.

If you wanted to, you can get a loupe and look for all types of funky imperfections, but why? (BTW I do not think yor dial writing is any imperfection) Just wear and enjoy.

Oh and don't forget the beer too.
