What is the big difference between a Date and Datejust?

I've looked all over. The only thing I can find is 2mm.

Yet Date's run relatively lower in price than Datejust's. I can't imagine it's just that 2mm. Is it a durability issue? (I assume the Datejust winds up being 1mm thicker in the case walls.) Or just personal preference?

I've looked all over and the search here turns up some funky pages sometimes. ???

Thanks!

The bezels are different. I believe the Date still uses Engine Turned bezels.
