Sea Dweller Tool - Black Screw?

Was reading through the various posts today and I noticed a thread saying they received a black screw inside the hollow end of the screw driver that comes with the Sea Dweller. I went to go check and mine is empty. Did they stop putting these screws inside the Sea Dweller tools or am I actually missing this piece? Mine is a V series. Thanks in advance all!!

You should have received the black screw inside the screwdriver. You need to first take the cap off the pointy end of the screwdriver and then take off the pointy end which comes off the hollow end of the screwdriver - inside you will find the black screw.

It's a screw which you will probably NEVER use, but it's meant to attach the extra link marked "L" onto the bracelet to give an extra large expansion if you ever wish to wear the watch on the outside of a very thick diving suit.

Thanks JJ! I think that extra link marked "L" already has a black screw in it. Am I supposed to get another one in the tool?

Should be there - it's all part and parcel of the tool kit that comes FREE with the SD.

Nothing from Rolex is FREE, but included as part of the complete watch!

I thought maybe this is something they stopped including. I'll ask my AD.

JJ - Is the screw an extra screw? I checked the "L" link and it has a similar looking black screw installed already? Thanks again!

Hmmmm................not sure. Maybe it's the same black screw; but it should not have been installed inside the link. Perhaps you could check with your AD.

Yes, mine's a V series Seadweller, and the tool has the small black screw inside the tool.

Thanks for the info. I'll ask my AD about it. Did you also have a similar black screw already installed on the "L" link diver's extension? Thanks again!

I want a BNIB V-Series Sea Dweller, but alas, there don't appear to be any AD's with any left.
