Let's make our own silly list.

I just saw another post on that ridiculous "Watch Brand Rankings" thread and said to myself; "self, I bet any half wit WIS on TRF could do a better job of picking the top ten watch brands".... so let's do it.

There are no right or wrong answers, no rules and you can base your picks on whatever you like but I still will bet that as a group our lists will be better informed and more accurate/realistic than that half-baked piece of journalistic drivel.

Here's my list based entirely on my experience of previously owning nine out of the ten brands.

1) Patek
2) JLC
3) A.Lange*
4) Vacheron
5) Breguet
6) Zenith
7) Rolex
8) Audemars
9) Glashutte Original
10) IWC

* = Haven't owned one yet but definitely on my VERY SHORT list.

So feel free to agree, disagree, or at least post your own Top 10.
Best,
Mike

I feel that there are many excellent watches out there, but the best one is the one you are most happy with...

What's the general opinion of Ulysse Nardin these days? Just curious why they're not getting any mention. I had the SS Maxi Marine Chronograph & liked it very much. I regrettably sold it to help offset the cost of my 116520.
