A slow, throbbing, pulsating, crescendo of suspense. I'm humming Bolero even as I type.

(Not really. I loathe that piece)

Ordered from an AD on Thursday, and got confirmation from the Swiss waiting for me at the office today. It's a rare piece especially in the US, but it's estimated there are less than 25 in existence. The company rep wasn't real sure.

But enough about my news...What are you guys all up to ?

It has both black and silver-colored components and i've never seen anything like it here or on any other forum. ('course that's not saying much. I only look at two watch forums) I heard the AD talking on speaker to the rep., and the rep said "Ooooh, I've never actually seen one of those"

F**k ! Just got off the phone with the AD. "Maybe" will be here in the month of March. "workers strike in the titanium mines", "gearing up for Basel", "you know, there's none of these in the US", yadda, yadda, yadda.

Yepper. Only way I was going to get it. Even the overseas dealers don't have it.

We will never forget: The Sky-Moon PP.

(Here a moment of silence is in order. It was a killer thread after all. Somebody got killed. )

Seems like an eternity now, but it was only two months ago. I kinda miss ol' deserted. I liked the Yul Brynner avatar better than the wizard, but hey...what do I know ?

No, it's not a million dollar watch, actually getting it in the low teens. It's a current model, but evidently only built to order.
