I really Cannot make a decision and its been eating me alive...
There isnt that much of a price difference between the two watches, but i am getting mixed reviews from many different people... and i know people here are going to say go with what I want, but I really like both these watches. So Out of these two watches, could you guys give me your opinion on which one you think is more
1) Noticeable
2) Looks better from far away
3) Everyday watch
4) Would rather have if price werent an issue.

Sorry I dont have a pic of the Turn-O-Graph but from what i've heard it is really nice.

By the way, I'm 18 years old and I want a watch that will also suit my age.

I think the Turn-o-graph is a nice choice. I'm assuming you want something that could be a little more sporty.
The Turn-o-graph can be both 'dressy' and rugged.

Hi Vic,

Both are excellent watches. The TOG is dressy as well as sporty with its rotating bezel. The DJ is more dressy than sporty. Try on both and go with the one that really appeals more to you.

Not only seen it, held it in my hands too. Love it except for one thing....too damn small for me at just 36 mm. I wish to God they'd made it at least 38 mm. Same with the DJ....too small for me.

Other than that, if you do have a small wrist, these sizes are perfect and so are these stunning models.

I prefer the TOG to the Datejust. However, both are fine watches.

i'd go with the Datejust if it were me. It seems more classic of the two..

personally i dont like the bezel on the TOG - fluted gold & sporty numbers clash in my opinion.

BUT, get what YOU like, thats all that matters.

IMO the TOG looks bigger that it is. It must be the bezel.
I agree with JJ, both are a little small for me as well.
If possible, try them both on and see which one make the hair on the back of your neck stand up more.
You'll know then.

I am not afraid to say that I am a large man, and my 36 MM DJ is great. I think 40MM probably looks better on me, but the smaller the watch the less attention. I have 21 links in the jubilee band I currently switched to and I think I could use an extra 1-2 more links. but I can al least feel the watch on my wrist everyday.

The TOG is in fact a variety or model of the Datejust, it just has a more sporty persona. It is really a matter of what you are looking for in a watch. You must go to a dealer and see and try on each watch to make your ultimate decision.
The red writing on the dial, red second hand and red date are all very alluring to me. I would have a hard decision too in deciding which I would prefer.

You know, honestly I am enjoying the size of this one a ton. I actually wear three different size watches many days and never have any problems with the switch. Today alone I woke up with the 88 on (the lume at night is second to none!!) then threw on the DJ all day after the morning shower and packed all day long. Then after the evening shower I put on the LV and going to wear it through the night.

All 3 are super comfy, look good and share wrist time.

Well, one day when I was at Mansor's, I did try on that exact same piece which you have, Daren. Honestly, I did find it small....so did the salesperson who quickly said: "Go for the Blue Sub, JJ....looks so much better on you!!"

Ha thats what I was thinking... for an 18yr old, go the Sub! Perfect size at 40mm, is bold and shiny and as tough as nails.. you can dress it up or down no probs!

EDIT: Thats not to say the TOG and DJ aren't tough... they are, the Sub is just more sportier for a young dude!

I like the DJ over the TOG personally (but that white face that JJ posted pics of is a doll)... have you looked at the Air King or Explorer (I)? These are NICE, simpler, watches that can work for dressy as well as casual. I don't have either, but the Explorer (second pic) is definitely in my sights.
