Register with Rolex
First-Thanks for all your previous info, I appreciate it.
Question- I purchased a TT Blue Sub, It came with all the paperwork, box, bezel protector and so on...It was purchased used from a very respected used Rolex dealer in Maryland. It is a D series, all numbers match, band code says its a March 2005 model MA3. Do I need to fill out the Rolex Certificate (It looks like a car title, 3 diamonds with Rolex in the middle)? It is typed where the watch was originally purchased, Hong Kong, Artland watch co.,LTD. Stamped August 24, 2005. Does Rolex know who ownes the watch by sending something in that matches the serial number when you go to get it serviced? Any info would be appreciated! -Bob |

In recent times, Rolex insists on having the name of the buyer filled in too. I know for a fact that it is mandatory in the USA.
Your certificate should look something like this after you've filled in your name and address!!

Since the watch is pre-owned you don't have to do anything. Warrentees in the U.S. are for the orginal purchaser only.
Rolex doesn't care who owns the watch when sent in for service. They will attempt to see if the watch is stolen. If so it will be seized untill everything is sorted out. This is what we have here, |

What do I do after I fill it out? Mail it somewhere? Or just keep it?

You want to keep that sucker, do not mail it anywhere.

I have not filled out any of mine. I think the only thing Rolex wants to know is if it is stolen. They run the serial number but they never enter your name into a database when you buy the watch. They never even asked me.
