Is one of these two a fake Sea-Dweller DeepSea?

vs.

Which one, if any, is a fake?
Padi Edit
In the Rolex watch forum we do not talk about fakes of any description.

First thread wasn't getting any responses, so I thought a better title was needed.

Is all the hostility necessary?

You were getting responses , but I guess not the ones you were hoping to get .
Hence the second take .

Got 2 wishy-washy responses and the thread got buried 4 pages in. But thanks for assuming.

I don't see any hostility here.
It's not uncommon that people try to see if they can fool some experts' eyes and then sell counterfeits at another web site as genuine.

Sound to me like someone wants to use us for marketing.

"My fakes are so good, the expert at The Rolex Forum couldn't tell the difference..."

Nice try.

OK now we are getting somewhere; post the link the seller is using and I will be able to tell you. I may not be an expert in all things Rolex but I can usually tell by the listing and the answers an seller gives.

I don't see how that logic applies when I'm saying the first pic is a fake and am looking for support on that conclusion. But nice try though.

Which one, if any, is a fake?

Again, nice try.

Check when that post was made. You really are moronic. I thought it was an obvious fake yet I got 2 maybe gen responses and 0 fake responses. Guess TRF isn't the place of knowledgeable Rolex WIS.

Where in Pennsylvania is the watch? I'll come out and take a look at it.

Watch is not in PA, and if you can't tell the difference when there's a pic of gen right underneath it, I really can't help you.

Where in Pennsylvania are you? Perhaps you can help me in person I'm always willing to learn. In fact I could pick up something in Ohio if you are in western Pennsylvania.

You call him moronic.

I call you a troll for playing the "guess which one is real?" game.

This section is not for game playing.

Buddy, you are really getting ridiculous with this. Since you love to ask questions and expect us to answer, let me ask you this: Are you buying this item, or is someone selling this item? If the answer is "no" for both, stop wasting our time. We gave you the best answers we could with the grainy picture you posted. If there is no better pic of the watch, then it is us who "really can't help you".

And as far as this comment is concerned: "Guess TRF isn't the place of knowledgeable Rolex WIS."

Just because we are not giving you the answer YOU want, does not mean that this is not a place of very knowledgeable Rolex WIS. Let me ask you, how many Rolex watches do you own? Post your pics here, please. There are guys here that have forgotten more about Rolex and the intricacies of their watches than most of us will ever know. This comment of yours is very presumptuous considering the caliber of folks that make up this forum.

After reading more of your posts it seems to me you are just a one trick pony who owns a fake DSSD.

Bye.

Sometimes it takes more than a grainy, badly lit photo to be able to determine anything definite........

But, we can determine definite member attributes by the posts they make......
