I like the feature called "FaceTime" video calling. It works between iPhone 4 devices. No set-up required. Works anywhere there is Wi-Fi. Oh, and its now got a "gyro" !

I was on the fence but I'll be getting one on launch day now. The camera and iMovie is what did for me. Being able to take, edit, and upload HD video from the phone is amazing.

that is correct! luckily there are metal buttons on those bumpers for volume/ring-silent controls....

Well after watching some videos on it, and going to the Apple site and looking at the cool new features, I've dectied to GET ONE !!!!
Pre-orderes for the new iPhone 4 start next Tuesday (June 15th) and you can pick it up at an AT&T store the following week (Wed. or thursday, forgot which).
I'm SOOO excited, I've been using my 3G for 18 months and AT&T just changed thier contract upgrade eligibility to 18 months !!
This new phone is going to be really cool !!
Only downside I see is
1. Still no flash
2. The new iChat front facing camara thing (so far) can ONLY work over WIFI and NOT 3G, and can only work with someone else with another iPhone 4. (So, someone with a Web cam on a regualr computer will be SOL).

4. Well, I can't really think of any other negitives, this new phone looks soooo neat, I can't wait to get mine !!

I've not long had a 3GS so will probably wait a while, mind, the missus needs a new contract, she seems happy with her phone that she has at the moment, hmmm, what a tangled web we weave.

Got an iPad and am delighted with it.

Ok , I shall be honest ... I got the mail from Apple with the Iphone in this morning .. my wife saw me looking at it .. I looked at her ... she at me ..and said : NO! I'm not having your old Iphone again . She inherited my 1 gen and 3G ..

the email didnt say much... (at least my email didnt). it re-directed me to the UK Apple website for tech features etc.

For us it's the same as the 3GS - $199/16GB, $299/32GB

There was a lot of talk about this prior to yesterday's announcement which made no mention of any other versions or carriers. AT&T says they cover 97% of the people in the US but I find myself where those other 3% are quite often and have always had great coverage from Verizon.

got the first new iphone on launch day and the 3g on launch day (never upgraded to 3gs). got my ipad on launch day and it is FANTASTIC. will be pre-ordering my ip4 on the 15th!
