This is one thing that amazed me when I first bought a Patek Philippe - I was told that for the rest of my life, I would be subscribed to the PP magazine. It is all four-color glossy, and the articles are punctuated by advertisements for still more Pateks. Twice a year, it is still a surprise and a pleasure to get.

Did you reduce your collection of watches?...if so what did you do??

Thanks so much for the kind words - the 5711G is a handsome watch, and I love it. But (for some that don't know what the reference is to) when I said in another thread that there are times I think I'd just be happy with my DD and my SS Daytona, I meant it. I haven't taken any steps toward that end (to answer your question) but those two watches make me the happiest, even if I don't get a magazine from the Rolex Corp. (And why is that, btw?)

When I get back to the house (I'm on the road) I'll post more pics. Watch this space!
