In this economy its reasonable to expect at least 15%.
However, if you look on the for sale section, there are better deals to be had.
As far as the resale value... check ebay and you can get a pretty decent idea of how much nd subs are going for.
Good luck with your search.

Hi and welcome to TRF.

12% is not too bad, but for that watch, you could push for 15%.

New watches come with all their original links fixed on the watch - no extra or separate links are packed by Rolex.

If you have a very large wrist and need an extra link or two, the AD can oblige.

Good luck - JJ

I agree with JJ on this model 12% is a fair price but push for more...and if you are worried about a year from now howmuch you would loose...I would advice you to buy used that is within 1 year old, mint and complete.
Check on the for sale... Davidsw, Bodybum, Mosco... and lots of sellers can help you.

Hold out for 20% minimum. That discount isn't too hard to find.

+1 on using the TRF sale section.

From an AD, I wouldn't expect too much a discount on popular SS models.
Of course, you'll get a better deal here!

The Gods of Rolex themselves!!

Not to worry, they have special tie-ups with Rolex ADs and can give you amazing prices.

I got 3 from one trusted TRF seller - no problems whatsoever!!
