Great pics.
Talking about green!!! I just viewed the new 2010 Sub-Mariner LV Ceramic. WOW!! All green, all of the time. Bad pun intended

You've probably already viewed it. I did a search for ESM on the thread and nothing came up. So I thought I would give you heads up just in case.
It's the most gorgeous green thing I've ever seen.

woo... Tempting Ed. But i dont think i would have "similar" watches in my collection though. Imo - new case, new bezel material and slightly different colour does not warrant it....

But, if i was going to get my first green Sub, im pretty sure i will be one of the firsg one on the list ;-)

I understand. So many watches and so little time, pardon the pun. A good collection needs diversity with a common theme such as all Rolex, or all Sport watches. etc.. I haven't even got my first Rolex yet and here I am chasing after everything I see.

i know how it feels. i was like that with the first one - then the rest was history.
after the first one, there is always another one in your head - that is quite annoying tbh
which one was/is on your "to get" list Ed?

I can relate to this... just took delivery of no. 2 (an Explorer II) yesterday, as a change from my Sub. I adore them both but am also getting into the green thing. Quite fancy a GV, as it happens, after toying with the idea of an LV Sub for a while...

I'm going to get myself in a lot of trouble

Sort of a sentimental quest, a GMT Master II Pepsi. My Dad had one and lost it when I was kid. I feel cheated out of inheriting it so...I'm gonna correct the situation and pretend like it never happened :)

"Purple and Gold...L.A. Laker's colours I think

I'm not really sure what "Chipmunk" meant by Purple and Gold. I saw that he's from So Cal, which I think is South California and from there I made the assumption that he maybe Lakers fan because they just won the NBA title.

Green is good. Looking forward to seeing the new 116610LV in person, I think it might be a pleasant surprise.

I like the green one!

I've always liked and respected the 16610 LV and it's definitely a timeless classic. But the new LV is simply stunning. Mine arrived yesterday from Watchfinder and I've spent hours just gazing at it. Partly to convince myself of doing the right thing and buying another watch, but also that the green is not too green.

I'm amazed how different it can look at different angles and ever changing light. It certainly has multiple personality disorder, but that's it's charm.

Incidentally, I bought a Milgauss GV earlier this year (which has given me a lust for the green) and that's another watch that is always looking so very different.

I also can't believe how well this photo looks, I took it on my HTC Desire!

I really like your collection. My son (who's almost eight) came into this world obsessed with the color green, and I must admit it does look pretty cool in most cases. He's managed to have an effect on my closet, and maybe one day… my watch vault…..???
