Superquartz life expectancy
Hi Guys, can some one please explain to me the life span of a superquartz battery.
Actually can someone please explain evrything about it ? cheers

The life expectancy will change depending on model. Chrono vs non-chrono, analog vs digital...etc. According to Breitling, it's 10 times more accurate than a standard quartz movement. You should get within 10 sec a year with a SuperQuartz model.

Jon, I have the 40mm Aerospace purchased 2004. I find it a great watch and daily wearer. And superbly accurate.
I had the battery replaced in 2006. Recently had a full service carried out a few months ago. The EOL (end of life) did not indicate a battery change, but it was time for a full service. Battery replacement cost $100 AUS, full service $450 AUS. Expect about 3.5-4 years on average. being Ti it is very light but durable. I am glad to have this watch in my collection. Cheers Jules |
