I like a few of the new models, not too big of a fan of the older models at all. My only disappointment was that they are priced just as much as Omega Seamasters, Speedmaster and they have a quartz movement. Otherwise I would have been very tempted.

My Mom has worn a Rado for 30+ years. I'm pretty sure hers is a ~1980 Diastar, the really flat rectangular one. It keeps excellent time and has withstood some abuse. Obviously, it was well made. She gets a new band every year, but I don't know if that is due to the band wearing out, or her wanting a new band annually.

I do know that hers is a "pre-SMH" Rado watch, meaning that it was made by Rado before they were bought out by what later became the Swatch group (Omega, Tissot, etc) in the 80's.

Anyway, not my cup of tea, and she could have owned a Rolex long ago, but she really likes this little tiny, very flat piece. To each their own...

I own a Rado Ceramica Jubilee

Have had it for about 4 years now and it still looks brand new! The ceramic material hold up very well against day-to-day wear and also reflects light like no other watch I have seen.

I especially like it when the light bounces off the individual links to create a circular pattern around a door handle.

I'll try and post some pics when I get a chance.
