Icon4 planning on getting my first omega

Hi all,

I bought a rolex datejust ii about 6 months ago and i'm now contemplating getting myself a sportier watch. i've got my eyes on an omega planet ocean chronograph (2210.50) and was wondering which AD would be a good one to buy from, and usually, how much of a discount is available on these watches? (i got about 20% discount on my datejust ii and i was told that omega usually has even bigger discounts...)

i'm located in Vancouver, b.c., canada.

thanks in advance!

Curious about experience with Vancouver ADs as well as I'm looking at getting a Seamaster Pro.

Questions I've got are:

1. What is the actual Canadian MSRP? I've popped into a couple ADs and I've been quoted prices from $3,800 to $4,500.

2. What discount from MSRP can be expected with Vancouver ADs? I've read of 20-30% discounts in threads, but Costco sells the grey market Seamasters for $3,000 (yes, I know they lost the court case but for now they still have Omegas) so is that as low, or lower, than any AD will go?

Thanks

Buy from the US and you can easily get 30% off US MSRP (which is lower than Canadian MRSP). Some ADs will ship to Vancouver while some will ship to a UPS/Fedex depot in Seattle and you drive over the border to pick it up. UPS/Fedex will charge you $5 handling fee.

As for the US MSRP, go to a grey dealer website where you can see the prices. If you need the name of the West Coast FAD give me a shout. Good luck.

The DateJust might indeed be a bit of a snoozer--Omegas are more lively and more stylish--with superior historical importance--Planet Oceans are very attractive watches.

I have bought from an East coast AD, at 30% discount, and paid with amex.
PM if you need the name...no real followup on service, but price was right.

My dealer ships to Canada (US) frequently with great discounts.

PM me if interested.

No need to go gray market.

My dealer is competitive and his watches come with Omega warranty.

Can anyone point me to an Omega price list?

So far I've seen the the MSRP for the Seamaster Pro listed as either $3,450 or $3,850.
