What do you think and why? Green or black sub-c?

I know this topic has been discussed before, but I am really in a pinch if I should get the green sub-c? I currently don't have one (long story) and I am going to purchase either a green or black sub.

Love the pictures of the green, but not sure if the color will go with everything as good as black does? Any input here?

BLACK would be a "safer" bet. As you yourself put it, GREEN may not go with all your shirts, etc....................but with a neutral colour like BLACK, you can't go wrong.

Besides, why would you want to fork out an extra 500 bucks for a gold painted green dial?

its going to be a tough decision - good luck with it. im sure you will love the one you end up with.

if still in doubt - get both. that will solve the problem

If the green is singing to you, go with the green. Logic dictates that black is more versatile, but then again, logic doesn't tend to come into play when buying a luxury watch

I think the black is more versatile if you have to choose one. It's also a lot easier to find than the green right now.

I'd get the black one. More versatile, more classic, easier to sell (if things go south). Black doesn't draw too much attention, while green simply "pops".

If I had unlimited budget, I'd get both, and swap the bezels to make two very interesting and unique Rolexes

If it starts to literally sing, you might want to seek the advice of a fully Rolex-trained doctor!

Get both!!! I myself and thinking of selling the black as they both are so similar but I love them both and certainly will NOT be selling the green I dont have a problem with the green as the dial looks black in most lights.

I say black also, due to the versatility factor.

I'd say it depends on what watches you already have and whether the green appeals to you.

If you have a lot of black dial watches then maybe green would be the better bet since it offers a nice-looking alternative.

Personally, I would pick green because I love the color, they are less commonly seen and I already have a Deepsea, TT Sub C and Sea-Dweller.

Good luck!

Green all the way, if it was 16610 then black but in ceramic green looks far better than the black.

If it's going to be the nth watch in your collection and you don't have anything green so it would be fun to add that to your collection...by all means...have fun. But if it's not like that then stick with black. It's more versatile, and it's a classic.

It is a subtle green that most people will not even notice the color unless they look close. It is not a big deal; similar to the 16610LV, it goes with everything and the splash of color is refreshing.

Go GREEN!

The two-tone sub-c is my favorite. Just a bit out of budget though. I never got to see the green in person, but I'm leaning towards black, plus the green is about 900 more than the black- here on the FS section.
