Orange bezel PO...

I'm thinking of getting a PO with the orange bezel and would really like to have it with the orange leather or rubber strap. Should I buy the watch with the steel bracelet and get the OEM leather or rubber strap to change out the bracelet, or buy ride away with leather or rubber strap?
I'm asking because the straps and buckle not that cheap but I really like the looks with leather or rubber.
On the other hand I know from my Breitling that the leather only last for max 2-3 years before needs to be replaced and that's why I switched to a rubber a couple of month ago.
What do you think or know about the durability of the Omega rubber or leather straps?
Thanks a lot for any advise!!

I would go with the one that you like. If you go the leather strap route, there are loads of different colour combinations available after market that will work with the deployment buckle.
The rubber will probably last longer

I have got the orange PO and I love it, but I have mine on a genuine Omega mesh.

The mesh is cool too,but wouldn't be my first choice. Have seen it a couple times on Breitlings.
I had a couple poeple telling me to go with the metal bracelet and try to talk to the AD to throuw in a rubber or leather band or work with me on the strap price during the purchase of the BNIB watch!
I think I would like to be able to change the bracelet between metal and leather or rubber once in a while!

Good advice up there from Frankie. Normally you get a better deal buying the bracelet. Its only a few hundred more but if you buy a bracelet later the price is insane! Work on getting the strap thrown in for free or a heavy discount.

Don't feel compelled to buy the Omega strap either. Their are some great strap makers out there and a unique strap can make a huge difference. Put it on a $20 NATO fora while just for fun. You can buy a lot of good quality leather or rubber straps for well under $100.

Good luck!
