Well IMHO its a fake on case ack bottom there should Comex issue number plus a few other factors

I agree with Padi- The engraving looks too 'placed' IMHO.

And don't forget....

the "E"s in stainless steel and registered design between the lugs. On an Authentic case... the middle bar of the E will always be shorter than the upper and lower. On most fake cases....the middle bar will be the same length as the upper and lower.

no offense, but that one is pretty obvious. you should seriously read the posts in the Watchout section here for about a month before you buy. those bad ones will become obvious to you too after that. Harry

Laser etching between the lugs and non-genuine fonts are two areas that indicate the case is fake. You did the right thing in canceling the sale. Be careful on those vintage cases.
