Well the Sub of course. I don't like the "Hooked on Phonics count by 2s" dial of the GMT.

They're both beautiful and fulfill two completely different functions.
If I were a diver or otherwise needed to keep track of elapsed time, the Sub would be the most beautiful. If I were a pilot or frequent traveler, then of course, the GMTIIc would be the most beautiful. There is nothing uglier than a watch designed to do something of no use to you when you are desperate for a given function, in my opinion, and as we all know, form does follow function.

Like the GMT. Both the looks and the function.

GMTIIC for sure - SubC is nice, but very very similar to old Sub. GMTIIC is more innovative. Really like the large font on the dial.

In SS the sub C is a winner. I feel that about subs per se: better suited to SS.
The Gmt 2c is a brilliant design- and outstanding in TT or all gold.

Well, the question was "LOOKS BEST." I still go with the GMT. The bezel of the GMT is more balanced by my eyes. And that extra shine of the GMT makes it pop a bit more too.
Of course, I've got to believe it's tough for a Sub owner to agree that a GMT looks better. I suspect that my go both ways though.

Yes I'm biased, but I'll freely admit I love the dial of the GMTII...but the new bezel has always been a deal killer for me. If I were in the market for a GMT, I would have to go 'old school' and strap on a GMT coke or pepsi (aka Magnum PI style). |

While the pic doesn't really demonstrate it, I also had to give my nod to the Sub due to its lack of PCLs. I know the debate has raged on in the past (and no doubt will continue in the future), but I'm of the mindset that the PCLs are just a little too dressy for a sports watch.
Rolex has the best looking brushed SS on the market in my eyes...so why not give us more of it? That's exactly what they did by keeping the SubC at its roots of all brushed. Nothing better IMO. |

If I had to pick one. In SS, It'd be the GMTIIC.
In TT, it'd be the SubC black. I don't see an issue with PCL on the GMTIIC... It is a tool watch, YES, it goes well with the glamorous job of being a pilot..... |

Personally, I love the sub but I'm in two minds on the GMT2C. It does seem to pop more than the Sub but it also does look a bit cluttered in comparison.

GMT by a whisker. Don't ask me why, that's just the one that draws my eye a little more. Both are gorgeous watches

I have to agree with the above comments....And given all the fake Sub's out there, even the new SS Ceramic Sub still reminds me of all the fakes. Now, in TT, to me, they are both awesome!!

In general, I prefer the GMT...
