Icon7 Something Buzzing with AP Content

Good morning,

For me it is, after a day or so of getting used to my new piece.

Thankfully , since I've been known to flip liked pieces, twice as quick as this.

Fortunately, some time behind the DSLR has help forge (no pun intended) a positive bond between me and the Bee.

So for now, all's well in paradise

Some pics.....

1) For some reason, not love at first sight.

6) The Cut

This fella thought he was safe, after only just coming through the door?

But unfortunately, he's going on a trip to AP Service and not coming back

So my collection is now considerably more portable than it has been in a long time

The Quick Review

Some initial observations;

- Its absolutely weightless, particularly after the DSSD and Diver. Stay away if you seek heft!

- Super comfy to wear!

- Looks pretty small in black, the yellow bezel really shrinks the face, as in pic-6.

- AP seem to have really perfected working with Forged Carbon - its super smooth on the edges and not furry, like I have seen on some older pieces.

- The case colour is a wonderful carbon-black - you can see the colour change, as in pic-4. Deep gloss black ceramic bezel is a nice contrast.

- Bonus for me, the AP logo sits nice and straight when the crown is fully screwed in - I get really bothered by this, particularly if they're 180' out.

Thats about it for now - I hope you liked the pics!

congrats on your new acquisition..I really like that one...very sporty and cool
thanks a lot for sharing.

but sorry if I missed something, why is the gorgeous diver going back and not returning?
you are quiet a flipper I can see..which means the DSSD and PAM Black Seal have to be very special to have stayed this long...share your experiences and opinions of those that have stayed long with you and what was so special/good about them? :D

regards, Asad

No big deal with the Diver, just a small concern I had ..... that quickly developed into an opportunity to upgrade

Very nice. Your list of pieces sold is interesting, I see you got rid of your daytona, not a fan? Beautiful AP though.

I loved the Daytona and wore it for 5yrs - every day

Thing is, when I purchased my shinny new GV, I realised how beaten up the Daytona had got.

I've since realised, its absolute bliss, not to be aware of the scratches and dings

Really like AP pieces. Unfortunately, they don't look too good on me.

Congrats!
