Loosing my mind trying to decide
I am vacation and decoded to pick up a new watch on this trip. It is essentially between a panerai 312 or a jlc reverso squadra hometime on rubber strap or rubber bracelet or leather (so confused) both I am getting a deal on. The jlc around 30% off retail the panerai much less I'm going to call the ad instead of the boutique and see what they can do need some help deciding I value your opinions.

Sorry neither of those really would be at the top of my list but of those Id go
with the JLC. Id really rather the JLC Navy Seal Diver Alarm watch now thats a nice watch that I could actually use! As for which to get it on, if you like the bracelet even a little buy it on the bracelet as the bracelet is REALLY overpriced buying after the fact, the others are still too expensive for what they are when you buy them later but still not as bad as the bracelet

JLC Reverso Squarda Hometime is a nice one, almost picked up a White dial on leather strap.
You really need to make sure that you like a rectangular watch... As I would assume it can be quite difficult to off load if it doesn't work out for you. 312 on the other hand, a handsome piece, will probably be easier to resell if need be. Tough choice |

I'd go JLC of those two as I think that's a square watch classic... Though I believe the PAM would be easier to resell if you changed your mind.

I prefer the looks of Panerai, so I would say go for the 312.

30% off JLC is nothing special. My AD offers that to anyone.
Just go with the one you like more. It is a vacation and a luxury item. Be happy you can get one.

Well I tried to renegotiate with the jlc ad and got the price down to 4050 for the jlc on rubber band. The panerai guys won't budge asked for an extra strap they said no way :( basically 15% off the retail price here for the panerai.

In my hunt for watches I have found a new treat. A Pam 320 for 6000 flat gmt and all. I am thinking that will be the one. The jlc I found discounts everywhere

PAM320 for $6000? That is very good price if the condition of the watch is decent. Also if you don't have very good relationship with AD, 15% off on PAM312 is pretty good as well. Go for PAM.
