Milgauss White Dial just arrived..........
Decided to add the "poor step child" White Dial Milgauss to the mix, after seeing all the great pics posted here on TRF, and after a bit of anxiety caused by the UPS Overnight package mysteriously being "left behind" in Louisville, the night before last, it arrived, thankfully, completely unmolested, this morning!
I put it on, and I must admit, I am a bigger fan than I thought I would be! I love how readable it is, and how it is so understated. More pics to follow.....off to the Apple Store for a class.....but had to post the requisite "wrist shot", or, of course, it didn't happen! Thanks, TRF, for all the great pics and posts related to this great watch.....you helped me come to the decision to acquire one for myself!! Nathan

Griss,
Thats one sweet piece! I've often kicked around the idea of picking up the White faced one to offset my black sub. How do you like it? |

Beautiful! I've really been into white dials lately. I really like that one. Congrats (on the watch, not the fact that I like it.)

I am certainly a fan now......beautiful on the wrist in my opinion. Quote:

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes!! I just stopped by Ben Bridge and had their Rolex Certified tech take a look at it and time it.....he came back, and told me it looked brand new and that it timed at -.8 seconds a day. Will see how it actually runs, on the wrist.

Ah I love that creamsicle. Very cool.
I would probably own one if I didn't already have his cousin:

Thanks, Greg......I think it was your thread where you swapped the white and gv that got me to really take notice of the white!! That and your GREAT photos, of the one you have posted for sale. I imagine that one will be on someone's wrist soon, as well....your photos are so compelling!!
Mark and Craig, after just 24 hours of wrist time, I am completely won over.....and Rob, you are spot one.....the dial does "pop", and this may very well be the cleanest looking Rolex I have ever worn!! And Anders, you are right, it is evidently a slow mover, which is good for those of us who like it!! Perhaps even good for future resale value waaaaay down the road, if this one turns out to be the least produced/sold version. Guys, thanks again for all the nice, positive comments, and congrats. I really love the watch, from the dial, to the nice contrast between the brushed outer links and the polished center links of the bracelet, to the weight/feel of the watch on the wrist. I had pretty much initially discounted the Milgauss when I first saw it, but am extremely happy that I gave it another round of consideration, now that I have it on my wrist. The bad news.......I might end up with a complete set! I am seriously thinking of getting a black, and a GV, G-d Forbid! The hazards of TRF, and my lack of "won't power"!!
