Bezel & insert for early 16610
16610 Submariner bezel & insert. These were original to my personal daily wear watch, which I wore for over 20 years. Interesting fade around the edge from "55" to "10", and various scratches to attest to being a daily wear item for so long! - $450 shipped, plus PayPal fees if that is how you prefer to pay.
Backstory: A little over a year ago, I was stunned as I looked at my 16610 Submariner and noticed the bezel and insert were GONE. Retraced all my steps from the night before, restaurant, parking lot, car, drivweay.... no sign of the bezel/insert. Searched for days - no luck. Thanks to this site, I met Stephen Mulholland, and he helped me locate a replacement. Around Christmas of last year, I ended up trading the Submariner to Stephen for a different watch. I had worn that watch for right at 20 years, getting it around 1991, when it was slightly used - so it was an '89 or '90 model I'm pretty sure. A few hours ago, the wife decided to do some spring cleaning. She was vacuuming behind the bed..... and found the original bezel insert!!! The Sub is long gone, so feel free to make me an offer. If need be, Mr. Mulholland can probably verify my story about purchasing the replacements from him last year.

Scratches and fade = "patina" for the collectors :-)
NOT beat up, just enough wear to have character. If I still had the watch, I'd be selling the replacements I got, and putting these back on. $400

Bezel is SOLD!
Thank you Chris, aka Colonel58, for prompt payment. I do still have the faded insert with the nicely patina'ed pearl (Tritium, I believe) - accepting offers on the insert. I'll post some pictures of just the insert in a few days, unless I sell it before then. Thanks, Lee
