does it have the newer movement how do you tell?

I think the ones with the engraved rehaut have the 3186, from what Ive seen no engraving means 3185

A Z serial could have either a 3185 or a 3186... Nobody really knows when the transition took place.

Even though the number of the movement has changed, they function identically except the 3186 will "jump" the Mercedes hour hand quicker... about 8 hours per revolution of the crown, whereas the 3185 only jumps about 5 hours..
