Icon5 What is the difference between ladies and mens 35 mm SS/Pt mid-size Yacht-Master?

What is the difference between ladies and mens 35 mm SS/Pt mid-size Yacht-Master?

The mens have ref. 168622 and bracelet 78750.

The ladies have ref. 168622 and bracelet 78740.

Am I correct this far?

So are there any differences between the watches - case, bracelet polishing etc?

The only thing I've found is that the ladies bracelet have 13 links and the mens 14 links. Is this it? So in theory you could buy one extra link for the ladies Yacht-Master and then it will be exactly as the mens version?

Thank you!

AFAIK, there are men's, lady's, and a midsize.

The 35mm is midsize. These are popular with ladies nowadays.

Only difference is the number of links.

The 35 mm is midsize and midsize only... Their is not a midsize ladies and a midsize mens... Its the ladies (29mm), midsize (35mm) and mens (40mm).

X2. Check www.oysterworld.de for the bracelet reference. One has an extra link.

I think that the 78740 is narrower than the 78750 by a mm or so, and has one less link in it's length..

The watch case itself is identical.........

I have the ladies' Yachtmaster. Its case is 29 mm. Mid size is 35 mm and men's is 40 mm. Ladies' does not have the trip lock crown that the 40 mm has I do not know about the 35 mm's movement. I believe that, other than size, aesthetics are the same, eg. hand proportion, etc.

They are both fitted with the same ladies 2235 calibre - an excellent movement which has now been incorporated in most of the ladies Datejust models.

The men's 40 mm YM is fitted with the reliable 3135 calibre, same as that in all the Sub-date models.
