Panerai Boutique Editions

So overall...........what are your impressions and thoughts on the recent releases of Boutique Edition Panerais????? I just picked up a 416 (Beverly Hills).....its my first Panerai and love it!!!!!! The "dirty" dial, "pig" logo and vintage looking strap just screams everything I love about Panerai. Would have loved a sandwich dial but hey......gives me something to look forward to!!!

My Firenze edition 411 should be with me shortly. Like you said they have nailed it with the vintage effect Patina on the dial along with the strap and the "pig" logo. As for the sandwich dial, I personally prefer the dial they have used. For sandwich dial pick up a Radiomir 210 or a luminor 112. I'll get my pics up once it arrives.

Not a fan of Radiomirs.............I think this one is going to be a keeper for a long time.

My next Panerai I think would be the 351........other than the fact that its Titanium (mixed feeling about that), the chocolate dial and gold hands are absolutely stunning I had a chance to see it and wear it at the BH Boutique........wow!!!!! BTW, the people at the BH Boutique are as helpful as can be............big thumbs up to them

I know you'll absoutely love your watch when it arrives..........

I love the painted dials and love the faux patina. I know it is crazy, but the pig is not my thing. Still, I wouldn't mind having one!

I think they're pretty cool. Only 150 pieces made per reference. I like the 417!

Congrats! I personally like to keep my PAM's a bit more ambiguous. Just me though. ENJOY!

I just got one myself not long ago. I think it's very vintage and very iconic. I love the faux patina, the dial with the pig. The only thing I wish for was - NO SUB DIAL. I would've loved it even more with a 000 design, swapping the logo for the pig.

The strap that comes with it is a killer, love the simplicity and vintage feel also.

I think this watch is a keeper and would be an interesting part of Panerai's collection history. It may not go all the way like the "big guys" such as fiddy and cali, but it'll get up there for sure. :)

wow.....considering they retail for barely more than a 111, that's quite a mark up!

I think you are right Norman... I based that info from a seller on Risti but after doing a little research all the boutiques are actually 150. Don't forget there are also 20 Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT 44 mm released per boutique as well... here's a pic of the Beverley Hills 406.

Anybody got one of those in the collection?

The all arabic dial a la 359 doesnt suit my fancy unfortunately. And with such movement and limited amount, I think the price is also over the top for me..
