with the passing of JJ, i was curious about who he was when he started posting 74,648 posts ago, thats when i noticed that his earliest post only goes back to december 2010.

was curious what the cut off is for old posts, is it a set date or is it topical or something else?

do some threads get archived to become permanent? perhaps JJ's contributions collectively could have such honor?

I was thinking the same thing perhaps like a "j.j. memorial" thread that is left intact?

so it looks like this was his first post on TRF but reading further along, he clearly was already highly regarded in the watch world
