After a Long Wait

I recieved my new Sub-Date this morning , after having to wait over two months after I purchased it, I had to wait for a mate of mine to come over here on holiday and bring it with him .
Needless to say that there are no AD's in East Africa
The wife has already warned me if I don't stop constantly looking at my wrist she will be putting me on rations for the next week!

Congratulations Charlie, that was well worth the wait. As for your wife, she sounds just like mine...................they don't understand.

Well, I can't think of anything being MORE worth the wait, nice watch! Reminds me how much I love this simple, straightforward watch.

Congratulations Charlie. It's worth the wait. That's the one that got me hooked when I was a kid and the one I wear pretty much 24/7 now. Good luck and wear it in good health.

Very nice! Have you looked at it under the blankets yet, to check out how the hands light up? That's what I did. Errr, what do you mean "pathetic"? Hey, what are you doing with that syringe? What, wha……. Zzzzzzzzz.

Take care and enjoy!

Frans.

Very nice watch. Wear it in good health. Unfortunately the looking at your wrist thing doesn't fade with time.

Beautiful watch and pic, Charlie. Enjoy the Sub and don't take any notice of your wife. The problem you are facing is endemic to most Rolex wearers. I constantly find my eyes drifting to my GMT even though I've worn it 85% of the time for the past 18 months. It's a chronic problem we Rolex wearers have to deal with on an on-going basis.

Don't forget the "is it real?" question! Barf!
