UPS just dropped by...my AD rocks!

And brought me this...

Some time ago I went to my AD and bought a DJ that didnt sing to me. I returned it the next day and ordered this. The turn around time was fast and I got a good discount on both pieces.

Now here is a conundrum. I got this gift for the SO for Xmas, but didnt even think that I couldnt see it till she opened it. I did take a quick look at the watch I ordered for her when I was at the store yesterday and it looks great. I'd love to show it here but dont want to ruin the nice wrapping job they did.

I do have this one picture that is truly awful even by my very low standards...

31mm ladies tt everrose, smooth domed bezel, black/brown MOP dial with diamond indices.

Thanks for looking.

That dial does an incredible color shift from almost white to brown to black. What's great is that the everrose hands shift color as well but in the opposite direction so when the dial appears darkest, the hands appear lightest. It is a very easy watch to read.

I've bought a few watches from them in addition to a bit of jewelry. The people at this shop are enthusiasts and I think they enjoy dealing with a kindred spirit. The manager took me out for lunch afterwards and we talked about watches and collecting diamonds. Whenever I am driving by I always pop in and say hello. This is what an AD relationship should be, I always cringe when I hear some of the AD stories here.
