how often do i get my Rolex serviced?

I have an explorer 1 and the crystal gets small scratches so easy. Any idea how to stop this? About $50 to get polished every few weeks. Love the watch tho. Classy!

Instead of blowing $50-100 bucks a month polishing it, save until you have about $600 or so and send it to Dallas, TX Rolex Service Center (RSC)

The crystal gets scratches?? What do you do with your watch? Bang it on metal surfaces?

Welcome to TRF. As for the polishing, this is not something that you want to be doing so often. Every time the watch is polished they are wearing off a bit of metal... This is minimal but overtime will become quite a bit. I believe in polishing only at servicing time (every 5-7 years) to answer your original questions

Is your crystal acrylic? If so then buy some plastic polish and some microfiber towels and do it yourself.

Welcome to TRF.

If you are talking about a watch with an acrylic chrystal, then you should get some polly watch and take care of it yourself.

X2 Polywatch in tubes works well but for deeper scratches on acrylic use Autosolve metal polish in tubes
