Icon17 This just in!! - and what an absolutely stunning dial...PICS.

Thanks again to the superb DavidSW - another seamless transaction my friend

I have been eyeing one of these since they hit the market - but wasn't 100% on the green dial + insert.

But - I have kept looking and seen many in the flesh - including our very own Dino's of course

About a month ago I couldn't stop thinking about it.

So - what was I to do - I contacted David and here 4 days later it's on my wrist:smoking:

I've taken some pics with the iPhone4s -

I have immediately been taken with just how much the dial changes in different light - When I first opened the box it looked black - then once the light hit it...wow!

I do believe that I can label this watch memorising...

The updates are superb - great bracelet and the clasp..well a work of art. The new case sits very well on the wrist - I have pretty flat /boxy wrists which seem to work well.

Extremely comfortable out of the tin...couple of links removed and all done.

Here are some pics....I think this is going to have lots of wrist time..especially now it's summer here and the sun is on full beam

Thanks for looking

EDIT: Forgot to add that David included this beautiful AP watch box in the package...thanks my friend...the Safari is already enjoying it!!

Hey Dalip,

As an aside and not to detract from your post.
I registered the Tricolour today for summer.
I plan on giving it a good run on Sunday morning.
Can you and your hulk get here in time?

Hey Dalip! looks awesome on you! I am also confused whether to go for the green or not black being the 'classic cant go wrong' option BUT theres something about the GREEN! oh well some more of your pics and damage will be done!

Congrats, I didn't see this one coming towards you.

I was expecting something in rose gold

Anyway it is an interesting piece and I really like it....on you

One of these days you will go vintage......but how long that may be away I'm not prepared to bet.

Surely only in years Eddie..
Gorgeous bike by the way....I'll be looking that way in a couple of years - had to put the riding to rest for a while

Exactly why the green is probably the way to go - if you like it on then I'd say go for the LV - otherwise playing safe will only result in disappointment down the line...

Thanks Steve..There are vintage models I really have liked - tried some on when in London at Burlington arcade....so who knows..But I think I've done enough buying for this year

Thanks Dan - He did indeed - I actually think the green ceramic insert feels more subtle than the my 16610LV....it's a great watch
