Panerai 382

you know how you wait for a bus for ages then they all arrive at once?

well I was lucky enough to have this land on my doorstep yesterday...

What a watch..

i live a work by the (Irish) sea - it will be interesting to see how our inclement weather will effect the patina on the 382 over the coming weeks!

and of course obligatory wrist shot!

That first picture is insanely good! Thanks for that.

A 382 isn't in the cards for me at this point, but, this bronze thing is so cool. Just put a deposit down on a Magrette just to have a tiny piece of the dream.

Agreed....I didn't say enough in my post above. If that doesn't qualify as "watch picture of the year", I don't know what does. Total perfection!!

yeah i know gave it a wipe down after. Will use the black nylon strap for water based activities over the holidays.

Have ordered a green canvas strap with bronze buckle that should be with me end of Jan.

Thanks for the comments on the photo - i lucked out with the picture i think!
I used a fuji x10 in macro mode for anyone interested.

Thank you for sharing such amazing pictures and story of your 382. Any idea how to keep it shiny if I want to maintain the "brand new in box" look? Hoping to get mine in Jan.
