A second incoming for a Melbourne WIS ....

Well, it's been a massive couple of weeks for me. Not even two weeks ago I secured my grail ... an all gold rollie in the form of an Everose Daytona. Wow, what a beauty, I've had so many compliments about it, it really is a standout. Not like a yellow gold that screams gold, but it's the amazing copper-red colour that captivates people.

After buying the Everose, I promised myself no more watches for 2012. None at all. Apart from maybe a Speedy Pro Moonwatch, a watch near the top of my wish list.

Anyways, I'm at my local AD yesterday, just browsing and chatting to the friendly AD that served me last time. I asked him to show me some watches. Just for fun. Just looking I said. That 'just looking' then turned into some genuine interest. I went back to work to mull over what I've just been shown. A couple of hours later I was back at the AD's. And a couple of hours after that, I walked out with a new watch on my wrist.

Ok, I absolutely promise myself NO MORE watches for the rest of this year (and next lol!).

So ..... what do you think I got?

Congrats Cary - you must be THG's best customer this year so far

I tried the Arabic dial version of this watch last year... beautiful and impressively hefty (as was the price!)

I have to agree Clive.......

Did you negotiate the other AD's Cary??

I found the AD across the street from the Melb. RSC (the name eludes me) most receptive to a deal in my experience. !?

You mean Grima's? Yeah, they're pretty good but when I window shopped there last week, they didn't have any models to tempt me lol.

I got a very good discount, and after I travel overseas, it works out comparable to the best US prices :)
