Best Patek in Category Thread

I was just thinking it might be nice to have a thread or threads were we present and discuss the various categories of Pateks and nominate various watches we believe are best in that category.

Granted this would all be opinion and there would be no real winners or losers, but it sure would be a great way to discuss the merits of various Pateks.

For example we could start with various Calatrava's to begin with and then go on to Aquanauts, Nautilus, Complications, and so on. I think it would be best to reserve Grande Complications for our last discussion.

We may even want to open a seperate thread for each category this way it would help to keep the discusssion's and pictures seperate, but we would only initially open one and allow some time for good discussion before opening another thread.

So what do you think?

The way I see it based on the way Patek breaks them out in the men's category there are 7 categories. Now if some women join us we can discuss those as well.

However I found the following categories of men's watches.

Calatrava

Golden Ellipse

Gondolo

Aquanaut

Nautilus

Complictions

Grand Complications

Remeber no winners or losers of the models within the categories, just merits of each model as expressed by those caring to participate in the discussion.

I like the idea for sure. I am certainly no expert, but it would be nice to banter and learn from the experts such as yourself.

Shall we begin...

I'm no expert by any means whatsover, however I will go ahead and open a thread for Calatrava and see how this goes.
