New watch. How tight should the bracelet fit on wrist?

If it is too loose will the movement cause streching?

If you can do pushups, without feeling the side of the case digging into your wrist, then you are good.

OR

While wearing the watch, if you push your "watch waring hand" up, so all fingers of the "watch wearing hand" are vertical or near vertical and the watch is not getting in the way, then you are good.

OR

If you just mail me your watch so I can adjust the bracelet for you, then YOU DA BEST!

Believe it or not,the tighter the fit the less wear there will be on the bracelet.I wear mine so that it does not flop around on my wrist.

If you prefer to wear yours loose go ahead,I don`t think it will make a great deal of difference one way or the other, enjoy.

i can fit two fingers in on mine, but it sits great on my lower wrist in most situations, but I can slide it up and down my arm on command. Love being a "bracelet sinner"

Completely subjective ...

wear it so it's comfy for you. Get the c-Sub and you can easily adjust to fit perfect.

Here's a link to a video of me wearing my watch, you can see that it is pretty tight and does not flop around at all.

It's your watch. Be comfortable. I wear mine looser than most.

I wear it loose enough to get a finger inbetween my wrist and band. I can't stand a tight watch. If you keep it clean you can prevent the "stretching" which is actually just the bracelet wearing in different areas.

My local pharmacist wears his Submariner like a loose bracelet and up, down and around it slides on his wrist. That would drive me mad. I wear mine just above the wrist bone and just tight enough to stop it sliding up, down or around.

Needless to say it is up to you and people have different preferences.

In my case it depends on which watch I am wearing. I.e. if it's the GMTIIc with the new clasp I wear it slightly tighter/snug as I can always release the easy link and make it looser.

If it is my Yachtmaster with old style clasp and no mechanism to adjust on the go, I wear it slightly looser than my GMTIIc.

I like mine looser than most. I wait until my wrist is small (usually later at night and when you are cold your wrist is smallest) then adjust it just to the point that the watch head doesn't spin around my wrist, then it's good. When my wrist puffs up, usually middle of the day or during exercise, then the fit is tighter.

I wear my Daytona on the loose side. But recently got a daydate. Was wondering if I should wear it on the more tight side just because of the status of the watch. Thoughts?
