At long last! Happy days!

After many long years, months and days I finally managed to track down a complete and more importantly mint condition Alaska Project Limited Edition Speedmaster. To say that I'm over the moon ;) is an understatement of epic proportions.

I just can't wait until it reaches my doorstep. Thanks George AB!

Thanks guys!

I know Omega is going overboard with its limited edition pieces but the Moonwatch Speedies have me hooked.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is the red object that is on the right?

Nice Jason! You're building quite the speedy collection. Look forward to seeing wrist shots....some with the red ring too!

It is supposed to shield the watch from the outside weather elements while allowing for use of the buttons

impalass, I will definitely have some wrist shots done once it arrives. There's going to be some competition between the Panda and the Alaska for wrist time :).

Npwilson, as Kringkily said it's a shield to protect the watch from extreme temperatures.

Sea-dweller, Boardman, Kringkily, thanks!
