Air King Date Super Precision

Hi everyone, new to the forum. The bug has caught me and just bought my second Rolex (first one a 1962 Submariner 5513 meters first, not too shabby I might say).

I just got a black dial Air King Date Super Precision as you can see on the picture. I've found the same one with only "Precision" written on the dial (see picture also). I wonder if any of you has seen another one like mine. Looks pretty rare. Love it! Any information will be appreciated.

Cheers!

The Super Precision was offered in some markets and sported a movement with higher grade parts and jewels..

I don't think that there is a market difference for one over the other today..

Price

Thank you for your answer. Hard to believe that a better machine would not carry a price differiential. I have found some info on the AKD Precision but nothing on the "Super Precision", guess I 'll have to keep on looking. Cheers!

Both nice looking watches! Yours Super is a lot cleaner, though, and the old Subbie sounds great! Welcome to TRF and the world of vintage! Enjoy!
